Simple answer, the Recreational players are those players that form the basic foundation of CYSA.
They are the players that form the stepping stones toward future players in both recreational and competitive programs. These are the vessels into which coaches pour soccer knowledge, time, and effort. They are budding players requiring constant nurturing and fertilization of thought and effort. They enter the sport for fun, companionship, and to learn. They have a striving to achieve for themselves, their teams and their friends. The effort put into making them happy and productive makes them want to return to the field of play, over and over again. They must never be forgotten when considering what soccer is and can be.
