Welcome to the long-awaited summer in Central California! After enduring days of rain, the sun is finally shining bright. Get ready for an exciting season filled with countless activities and memorable experiences!
As we embrace the summer, it’s important to stay weather-aware and take necessary precautions on a daily basis. However, in addition to the glorious sunshine, we might encounter another challenge: mosquitoes.
Weather Precautions: Ensure your safety and enjoyment this summer by following a few simple guidelines. Remember to apply sunscreen, stay hydrated, and use effective mosquito repellent to protect yourself from pesky mosquito bites.
Mosquito Problem: The recent heavy rainfall may have led to an increase in mosquito activity. Don’t worry, though, as there are effective measures you can take to safeguard yourself. Eliminate stagnant water around your homes, employ mosquito nets, and consider wearing long-sleeved clothing during peak mosquito hours.
Fall Season Registration: It’s that time of year when we begin registering players and coaches for the upcoming fall season. Let’s kick start the process early and reach out to as many potential participants as possible. Help us avoid last-minute rushes by spreading the word and inviting your friends to join in on the FUN!
Soccer Fever: Brace yourselves for the incredible soccer enthusiasm that lies ahead! The highly anticipated Women’s World Cup is just around the corner, followed by the exhilarating build-up to the Men’s World Cup, set to be hosted in the USA, Mexico, and Canada. California, in particular, will be a major focus for both men’s and women’s teams. The journey begins on July 9th with the sendoff game for the USA Women’s team in the Bay Area.
District 7’s Impact: We eagerly anticipate the registration of thousands of players in District 7 😊. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your dedicated efforts in making this beautiful game accessible to the youth in our community.
Call to Action: Join us in making this fall season extraordinary! I urge you to register as soon as possible, spread the word, or consider volunteering as coaches. Let’s come together and make a positive impact on the lives of our young soccer enthusiasts.
