Getting back to coaching after the ‘Coronavirus shutdown ‘may not be as easy as it sounds. Studying and understanding the message in this article written by my dear friend, the late Bob Asklof, should help all coaches in D-7 with the transition.
A YOUTH COACH is successful if he/she can accomplish FOUR KEYS TO SUCCESSFUL COACHING at seasons end:
- All the players have improved their skills during the season
- All the players had FUN and enjoyed themselves.
- All the players want to come back next season and participate again.
- All the players would like to play for ‘the COACH’ again next season.
