DISTRICT 7 OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

IDENTIFICATION PROCESS

For the 2012/2013 seasonal year, District 7 will once again use the following process for identifying players to be invited to attend the State ODP tryouts. This selection process will send our very best players to the State ODP ID in September and October and December.

District 7 will rely on the use of a comprehensive player scouting system to identify the top players in District 7.

This new identification process will allow only Club/League Coaching Directors and Club Technical Directors to recommend players using an on-line recommendation form. This same form can be picked up at the District 7 office, which is located at 4285 N. First Street, Fresno CA. 93726.

These recommended players will then be evaluated by a District 7 ODP ID Staff. From this pool, players will then be invited to attend the State ODP ID in September and October. There will be no cost to the player at the District level.
